S.D.Vidya Mandir City, Panipat celebrated Baisakhi with great enthusiasm on 13th April 2022.The celebration of this festival marked the beginning of festivities at our school. Students were dressed to their best in colourful attire . The children dressed in ethnic wear danced to the tunes of Baisakhi music and presented a group song.The Principal ,Ms.Meenakshi Shroff blessed and guided the students.Baisakhi is the most significant harvest festival of North India particularly Punjab and Haryana.It was on a Baisakhi Day, in the year 1699 that Guru Gobind Singh founded Khalsa Panth  and gave a unique identity to Sikhs. He administered amrit to his Panj Pyaras. By doing so, he established that all human beings are equal. The spirit of Baisakhi fills the lives of the people with happiness, joy, wealth and prosperity.
