Apart from basic education CBSE strongly believes in hands down practical training in vocational skills.

By adopting certain skills and capacities students will learn to become successful, innovative, adaptable, and productive human beings, in today’s rapidly changing world.

Skill Expo is "Connecting Mind, Creating the Future" which focuses on life skills and stimulates employment, strengthen existing industries that contributes to sustainable economic growth.

CBSE has commenced Skill Expo cum Awareness Workshop propounded by the board with specific emphasis on Wellness, Apparel, Computer Applications and Typography.

In S.D Vidya Mandir City, Panipat, Skill Expo cum Awareness Workshop was oriented on October 31, 2022 where various teams participated and exhilarated skills like Forensic Science, Artificial Intelligence, Diverse Designing, Stenography, Homemade Productions, Robotics, Art & Craft, Bakery Products, Handloom items, Plumbering, Carpenting, Health and Beauty, Horticulture etc.

The benign presence of respected chief guest Sh. Bandara Dattatraya - Governor of Haryana made the programme more graceful.

Sessions were also conferred by Sh. R.P Singh (Joint Secretary of CBSE),Ms Swati Gupta (Deputy Secretary of CBSE)and other field experts.Dignified personalities like Sh Sushil Sarvan ji, Sh Shashank Kumar Sawan ji,Sh Parmod Vij ji and the Principals of various institutes were also present.Cultural programmes presented by the students got the attention of audience. Worthy management members of the school and the Principal  Mrs Shivani Kandola thanked the dignitaries and offered momentos.The significance of the programme was to escalate awareness about vocational skills in ones' daily life.
