To enlighten the students about our lavish culture and heritage, S.D.V.M-City commemorated Dussehra with great enthusiasm and the entire campus came allive with the melodious Bhajan, spectacular act of Ramayana and mesmerizing performances accord by our SDVIANS. All the participants were adorned in ethnic attire. At last huge effigy of Ravana was burnt by the honourable management, staff and students. The companionship of our respected gues Sh. Sushil Sarwan, Deputy Commissioner, Panipat , Mrs Sonia Sushil Sarwan and Sh. Shashank Kumar Sawan , Supritendent of Police, Panipat ,made the event more graceful. There was an air of festivity in the entire campus.

Principal, Mrs Shivani Kandola , extended her warm greetings on the occasion to all the guests, management members, staff members and students. She also

emphasized  the importance of celebrating these festivals in schools. She added that festivals are an integral part of our lives and the purpose behind celebrating them is that our coming generation should have a connection with their culture.  This is the best way to inculcate moral values among them.

Mr Anoop Kumar congratulated everyone on this auspicious occasion and reminded that truth always triumphs. He also urged us to follow the path of our duty.

The event was a learning experience for all specially for the young ones who got enriched about our rich  heritage and culture.
