The Sports Day for students of Class III at SDVM City School was successfully organized with great enthusiasm, discipline, and sportsmanship. The school premises was adorned with colorful decorations a well-organized sports track and a lively atmosphere. The aim of this event was to develop physical agility, confidence, teamwork, and discipline among the young students.
The event began with the symbolic lighting of the torch, representing the spirit of sportsmanship. As the torch was lit, it filled the entire field with energy, enthusiasm, and inspiration. The students presented a well-organized march past, showcasing discipline, unity, and coordination.
Various age-appropriate and exciting sports competitions were held, including balloon racing, sack racing, and more. Students participated enthusiastically and displayed excellent sportsmanship.
Parents were also part of the excitement, participating in special races organized for them. Students who performed exceptionally well in the competitions were specially honored with medals.
The principal, Jaishri Garg, in her inspiring address said that Sports Day is not just about organizing sports events but is a powerful process for building the personality of children. Through sports, students learn valuable life skills like discipline, patience, leadership, time management, and teamwork.
