S.D.V.M. City School celebrated its Annual Function with great splendour on Friday, 28 November 2025. The event highlighted the school’s commitment to nurturing young talent, with about 500 students presenting impressive cultural performances.

The school warmly welcomed Chief Guest Shri Roshan Lal Mittal Ji, Patron of S.D. Education Society, and Special Guest Shri Rajesh Goyal Ji, Prant Prasar Pramukh, RSS. School officials, including President Shri Anoop Garg, Secretary Shri Naresh Kumar Goyal, Vice Chairman Shri Abhay Singla, Auditor Shri Krishna Agarwal, Secretary Shri Ishwar Garg, and Principal Dr. Anu Gupta, greeted the guests. The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp.

Programme Highlights

The event began with a devotional Ganesh Vandana, followed by classical dance, Shiv Halahal, Rajasthani Fusion, Punjabi Folk Dance, Bollywood Through the Decades, and a soulful Orchestra with Singing. These performances captivated the audience and added charm to the celebration.

Special Guest Shri Rajesh Goyal Ji appreciated the students’ discipline, cultural values and artistic expression, emphasizing the role of such events in building confidence and character. Shri Roshan Lal Mittal Ji and Shri Anoop Garg Ji also praised the students and acknowledged the dedicated efforts of teachers and parents.

Distinguished guests from various S. D institutions graced the occasion, adding to the prestige of the event.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Vice Chairman Shri Abhay Singla, followed by the National Anthem.
